Welcoming all weary ones to Misty Britain

The land of these misty isles has been traumatised over millennia. She asks for our witnessing and our humility. If we can be with the truth of her endurance and her suffering, we can also be with the truth of her eternal nature and indomitable spirit. Another world is possible. 

Now the old ritual landscapes return to the weary human with open hearts, asking to be known again in full. Hidden within etymology, myth, folklore and trauma  —  are the old, old whispers of our souls and the soul we share with the land.  

Misty Britain is a place where folklore, mythic memory, etymology, and land healing come together. At the intersection of all these things, we can discover the secrets that have been kept safe for us – the knowing-of-the-heart and the sacred-way-of-seeing that can free us from our deepest pains and trauma. Once there was magic, mist, and the great mystery. Now there will be again – and we will learn that they were never gone from us. And are ours to join with. The whispers from a Misty Britain are offered into the world as a healing balm for our troubled times. May they go where they need to go and find who they need to find. 

Welcome, weary traveller. I am a pilgrim on the path beside you, traversing the same ground and the same rocks and rivers. Sometimes we walk ahead of each other and sometimes we fall far behind, but if you are here and reading this, then you know we are all heading for the same places more-or-less. Sometimes the flicker of the flame on the road ahead grows dim and seemingly lifeless, but it never goes out. Who am I? I'm still learning. But should we pass each other on the road, may we bow our heads silently in greeting.
